Question 2

      1~ I should mention Todorov's theory in the question and talk about equilibrium and disequilibrium. I could also mention Barthe's enigma and action codes.

      2~ One of the differences is that one poster allows us to get familiar with the character, whereas Nike  portrays the character in a mysterious way. 

      3~ Genre allows comparison and discussion of media products. It also is important because it can be a template for media producers to attract audiences.

      4~ There is a reinforcement of negative black stereotypes. It could suggest embracing "street" culture or lack of education.  

Question 3

     1~ The producers invites the audience to make links between their knowledge of conventional narrative structures and this media texts.

    2~ Both figures have used a male as the central image however one is white and the other is black.

 

     3~ The success of genre has allowed producers to earn large amounts of profit and it is primarily due to the repetitions of their key conventions.

   4~ Hall's reception theory also states that it is possible for audiences to completely reject the producer's intention. This idea refers to the counter-hegemonic readings that consumers may interpret.

I need to use all media terminology that I have learned. In addition to this, I must mention all the theories that  know. For example, Todorov's theory.
